Berlin-Summer, sunshine und in addition to that some wonderful games by the Neukölln-playmobil

Today, three classes met at the Peter-Peterson-primary school together with our city council for health and youth and the vice district mayor Falko Liecke, the playmobil-team and the RespAct-team on the Schierkerplatz in Neukölln.

Last october, the Peter-Peterson-primary school expressed the wish for more offers on the neighboring playgrounds. The children often felt uneasy, because of older kids taking over the playgrounds and the latters not really being of any use in that case.

Our city council took care of this concern and took it seriously. Through support of the youth welfare service of Neukölln, the Schierker-playground is now one among 4 playgrounds, which are being visited by the playmobil once a week and are being provided with wonderful and active offers. Every tuesday evening, kids in Körnerkiez get to try out creative and active games between 15 and 18 o’clock.

We had a wonderful morning. Thanks to Mr. Liecke and the playmobil-Team for the beautiful prelude event.

Strong children. Strong democracy. We let children speak up!

We took part at the summer festival of the Ganztagsschule St.Pauli. We already had carried out project-weeks there and were guests with our two summits in the past. Together with many other activities, such as pony-riding and throwing cans, children were able to try out focus mitt-exercising with us.

Many students of the school, together with their siblings and friends, found their way to us. At the beginning, we had only boys, but eventually many girls were enthusiastic. Especially younger siblings, who have not beein going to school yet, surprised us with how great they mastered their trials with the boxing gloves.

Guests, parents and teachers were able to get informed about our project RespAct, as well as about the ideas of the project-week and the summit, that took place in the last schoolyear. Guests were impressed by the great ideas that fourth-graders had.

We were there! On sunday (30.08.2015), RespAct was on the 21st “Sport at Olympiapark”, Berlin’s biggest family sports festival. The RespAct stand provided with small boxing exercises, exciting competitions at the already-built fitness-parcour as well as a small painting-station for coming up with the playground of one’s own dreams. It was super hot that day and yet, all children and youth hat much energy and joy and tried our boxing. We had lots of fun with you! RespAct!
